Danielle Houston – McMaster University

Danielle is a second-year student at McMaster University studying Earth and Environmental Sciences. This degree is important to Danielle as it gives her the incredible opportunity to channel her passion for nature and natural sciences into a practical, fulfilling, and exciting career with potential opportunities in the railway industry.

Megan Chow – Queen’s University

Megan is a third-year student at Queen’s University studying Health Sciences and currently involved in the Global Health and Population to investigate specific populations with specific needs in greater depth, while furthering understanding the appropriate methodologies used to examine universal health. Megan hopes to apply this knowledge to various disciplines such as the railway industry.

Staying true to the TRC’s mandate, the TRC Scholarship Fund will promote the rail industry by providing financial assistance to students focused on pursuing a rail road career.

Scholarships are available to students undertaking a University Degree or College Diploma in a discipline that will ultimately benefit the rail industry.
