POSTPONEMENT OF TORONTO RAILWAY CLUB EVENTS – CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT 2020

 Dear Board of Directors & Members of the Toronto Railway Club,

As we continue with social and physical distancing due to COVID-19, the Toronto Railway Club will be rescheduling our Annual Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for June 19th. 

  • TRC Charity Golf Tournament – POSTPONED – Tentative new date:  August 21st, 2020

Please note that will continue to have special Board meetings via conference calls (dates to be determined) to discuss other TRC upcoming events and any possible updates.

Again, continue to monitor the Toronto Railway Club website for information and updates about future events.  Please keep safe and we know that if we all continue to be diligent with COVID-19 guidelines and continue to practice social and physical distancing, we will all come out of this difficult time.

CANCELLATION OF TORONTO RAILWAY CLUB EVENTS – COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

 

Dear Board of Directors & Members of the Toronto Railway Club,

As the Government of Canada and Ontario suggest, along with various Health organizations,  avoiding mass gatherings to reduce the risk of contagion has become important.

Therefore, please note that due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and as guided by Government Officials and the Health organizations, the following Toronto Railway Club events are officially cancelled:

  • March 27th and May 1st Luncheons;
  • March 26th, April 30th and May 28th Pub Nights;
  • Please note that, decisions on future TRC events will be considered at a later date.

For those of you who have purchased tickets for the March 27th Luncheon, please note that the TRC Treasurer, Jim Robbins, will be issuing refunds in the upcoming days.  Refunds will be issued to the person associated with the purchase transaction.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

Please monitor the Toronto Railway Club website for information and updates about future events.  In the meantime, we invite you to remain vigilant and consult the precautionary measures suggested by health organizations.
